Moussa Bongoyok, Ph.D.
Bongoyok is the new Academic Dean of Promise Christian University (PCU). He earned his PHD in Intercultural Studies with a special emphasis on Islamic studies on June 2006 at Fuller Graduate School (USA).
He pursued his postdoctoral studies at Oxford
University, London, where he focused on Islam and
Development. He comes to PCU with a strong
experience in higher education and academic
administration. He was an instructor at the Bible
Institute for the Promotion of Women (Central
African Republic) in 1993. He taught biblical languages (Hebrew and Greek), philosophy, French, systematic theology and missiology at the Bible Institute of Maroua and Banqui Graduate School of Theology in Central African Republic (BEST) in 1994-1999 as an Assistant and Adjunct professor. From 1999-2001 he was the founding Head of Missions department of (BEST). From 2001-2006 he was a Teaching Assistant and a Chaplain at Fuller Graduate Schools. Professor Bongoyok is a member of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) Research Association of Minority Professors, International Association for Community Development, International Studies Association, International Association for Missions Studies, International Association for Promotion of High Education, World Evangelical Alliance, Middle East Studies Association, International Christian Chamber of Commerce and the Evangelical Missiological Society.
